PURPOSE:

Flagler Hospital is dedicated to providing quality medical care for its patients. The mission of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is to provide high caliber, up-to-date continuing education programs for the medical staff and ancillary personnel of Flagler Hospital, consistent with their needs in providing quality healthcare to patients served. In doing so, the CME program will comply fully with the requirements mandated by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), and the Florida Medical Association (FMA) while meeting the educational needs of its medical staff and ancillary personnel, in order to improve their professional knowledge, competence, performance and ultimately patient outcomes. Flagler Hospital will offer educational opportunities in an environment conducive to learning, and will continuously re-evaluate the effectiveness of the CME program.
