Baby-Friendly Designation Initiative
Flagler Hospital is seeking Baby-Friendly Designation, which requires physicians,
physicians' assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses in the specialties
of Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and NICU to complete three hours of CME/CE
education this year. You are asked to complete the required three hours
of CME/CE education.
Available Activities (click title of activity for access)

Community Health Training Institute through the Massachusetts Medical Society has two
1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM monograph activities. The completion of both monograph activities would
satisfy the three-hour requirement.
2.Flagler Hospital internet Point-of-Care (iPOC) activity. Each iPOC activity completed can earn
0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM by researching and reading articles or position papers on the topic of
breastfeeding. To complete three hours of breastfeeding specific education
requires the completion of six iPOC activities. To earn CME credit for
research/reading articles, please click the above iPOC link and follow
directions.
3. You are also welcome to mix one 1.5 hours Community Health Training
Institute monograph activity with three iPOC activities to complete the
required three hours CME/CE education for the Baby-Friendly Designation.
