To Our Dedicated Colleagues,

Every day we strive to provide the best health care possible to all Flagler Hospital's patients. Utilizing the best staff, based in current medical evidence and the most up-to-date technologies, we aim to provide exceptional health care to every patient that we serve.

In an effort to continuously improve the exceptional quality of care we provide our patients, we will be implementing the Allscripts SCM application. Employees from various departments have been working together on this project, which we branded as iCARE/iConnect. On July 1, 2013 we will be going live with our new system at Flagler Hospital.

The iCARE/iConnect implementation will create full integration of all clinical and administrative information and functions. This integrated system will allow for more efficient workflows for all staff, and help us reach federally-defined meaningful use criteria.

Our new electronic medical record will connect technology with care. Flagler physicians, department leaders and staff have been working together to build this new generation of healthcare information system for our organization. As we embark on this new endeavor, we are committed to providing you with consistent up-to-date communication on the project as well as a robust training solution to get each of you proficient with the new systems by our July 1 Activation date. Through a bundled package of training services, you can feel confident that you will be able to use the new information system successfully to assist you in providing quality patient care.

We appreciate your time and commitment to providing the highest quality care to our community. Our new EMR should enhance the care you provide. This is an exciting time at Flagler Hospital and we look forward to moving into the future of health care with you.

Sincerely,

Michael C. Sanders, M.D.
