M*Modal Fluency Direct Beginner Microphone Training

ACTIVITY PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Allscripts Tele-Stroke EMR Training provides neurologists credentialed as tele-stroke physicians the ability to navigate and document within the patient's hospital electronic medical record remotely.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE GAP:

Physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners need to understand to use the updated M*Modal Fluency Direct dictation software within the electronic medical record to ensure continual patient care and achieve Meaningful Use Stage II criteria.

AUDIENCE:

This CME activity is for physicians, physician assistants, and advanced practical registered nurses using M*Modal Fluency Direct to dictate into the EMR.

OBJECTIVES:

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the basics of M*Modal Fluency Direct including initial profile training, sample templates, and correcting text.

2. Use M*Modal Fluency Direct with Allscripts SCM.

3. Practice achieving Meaningful Use Stage II Criteria by demonstrating basic knowledge of M*Modal Fluency Direct capabilities.
